I've had to laugh a little bit (and, take notes!) during some of the 'meal time prayers' when Broderick offers to pray. He very seriously and intently will thank God for our food and for the day... but strategically adds in a new personal request in each time. He's careful to only add in one personal request per prayer, as to not overwhelm, I would assume. ha!
They go something like this:
"Dear Jesus, thank you for this day. Thank you for this food. And thank you for my Batman costume. In Jesus' name, Amen."
The others are pretty exact but with a new twist each time... "And for my new Santa pajamas" ...
"And for my dinosaur costume" ...
It's so sweet to hear him add these little prayers of faith, as he owns absolutely none of those items. So yes, mama is taking notes.
But the real question is... where does one find a dinosaur costume in November?!
