Trust

As I walked into my local Target the other day, I watched a man in front of me boldly and briskly walk towards the sliding entry doors. He didn't hesitate for one second. He just kept walking, same pace, same stride. The doors opened, and then he did it again through the second set of doors. 

It had me thinking, isn't it funny how we so often trust all the mortal things in front of us, yet it can be such a challenge to lean on the wisdom and all knowing power of God? 

No one thinks when they walk in to a Target that those sliding doors just won't open and their face will be plastered into the glass. No, they assume, they know, they trust that the doors will do what their 'job' is; what they're meant to do... open, and close. [By the way, thank goodness for that.] 

How often do we rely on the non-essential things (you know, that go much deeper than a set of sliding doors) instead of the infinite mind of the Creator?
